FEZ - IFRANE - AZROU - MERZOUGA DESERT

Morocco Berber Travel organizes tour from Marrakech with experienced drivers and guides to explore Sahara desert. We will pick you up from Fez  riad/Hotel  at 07 h 30 by your Guide Or driver to Merzouga Erg Chebbi 8 hours journeys takes you across the Middle Atlas  Ifrane where the ski resort located,then we will have a stop in ceder forest Azrou,where are the monkeys Barbary apes,you can get bananas to feed them in a distance,and we stop for lunch in Midelt,we will continue along the way via Ziz valley with its beautiful and impressive panoramic views over the palm trees,it is the largest oasis of Tafilat with many Saharian villages and towns in the way,then we continue deeper to amusing Moroccan Sahara desert,till yellow send dunes appear,it is one of the best desert in the north of Africa. Wen you arrive the hotel you will have cup of tea,then you ride camel to the middle of Sahara desert and sleep in a Berber tent.

1st JANUARY :

MERZOUGA - TODGHA GORGE -ROSE VALLEY - OUARZAZATE

Around 5 H 45 you will wake up to see sunrise of Erg Chebbi,following by delicious breakfast,then ride camel back to the hotel to meet your drive/guide then we will stop for workshop in Rissani where the fossils are made and have an ideas about,then we drive a long the way to Todgha Gorge where you can have a lunch in local restaurant and walk about 25 minutes between cliffs as canyons area.then we continue a long the of 1000 kasbahs,then we stop in Rose valley as the area where they produce parfume,crèmes,….next we continue the way to Skoura and breaks to take photos of old Kasbah in Skoura Amridil and Ben moro Kasbahs.then we drive to head Ouarzazate.

2nd JANUARY :

OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU - TIZI-N - TICHKA - MARRAKECH

After having breakfast we will stop for a visit  in cinema studios as UNESCO world heritage,then we continue our way to Ait Benhaddou where international films took for example “prince of Persia”, “Gladiator” Lawrence of Arabia”…..and it is UNESCO world heritage since 1987,you will have a chance walk about 45 minutes to expore the Kasbah,after that we resume our way to High Atlas mountains and stop in Ounila valley with its Authentic Berber villages on the way,we will across the High Atlas mountains of Tizi n'Tichka 2260 metres high and stop for lunch in local restaurant. After lunch we will resume the way to Marrakech.
